Okay, Hope everyone had a great weekend. I have been toying with ideas to create images that stir remembrance. This one here sparks the whole of my time at UA. Not so much all the memories, but reminds me where I was when this rag came out. What, from your memory, takes you back to when your concerns were passing that test, or which bar this weekend?
The image I chose is either too big, or the server overloaded, but i thought of another task which I would be happy to undertake. Comment, or send me a song, or collection of songs that take you back to when we lived for the weekend and the world was not as real as it is today. I am already thinking the theme song is R.E.M's the end of the world as we know it. BTW; It is in the new DVD: Chicken Little. You need to watch this to realize that big budget anime is being made for our generation.
Also, marc, loved the Photos. My next question came to mind after we had some old photos developed this weekend. Who has been photographed asleep/passed out more? Is it steve or me? If I can get steves photo to scan at low enough resolution, I will post it, and it will be first on the blog.

It's very important to note that the bottle of Colt 45 is empty.

It's funny you posted this. Pete and i were just talking this weekend about how spring time always reminds of being in college, i.e. going to the quad, riding our bikes, etc. I was feeling more of that college nostalgia today when i went to Athens, home of UGA, for a deposition this morning. The office i went to was located amidst a bunch of old houses occupied by students and frat/sorority houses. Kinda made me feel a little old, but brought back some good memories!

wow...where to start on this one. i suppose the start would be when i met all of y'all. it was spring semester 1991 and i had just moved into rose towers and lived in the same room...shuddering...as...uughhh...raiford. remember that nasty fella? somehow the first weekend back, i managed to get a liter of bacardi and a two liter of coke. and that my friends started a looonnnggg (some folks are called dr's that went as long as my stint) time at UA. one that was had with all the great people that are on this site.

time to pull out the old memory books back to the time of spring 91...in no certain order: keg parties at the tri-jen's...of course quarters...poker night at blake and kyle's...circle-k parties...marc...remember brandon king?

songs from spring 91...for me...probably drivin-n-cryin...hootie...follow-for-now...and public enemy.
